Thanks to both of you for your replies.
The latest on my side. All defecive parts were sent to Kawa for failure analysis. Kawa sold roughly 200 GTR1400 in Switzerland over these last 12 months. My dealer mentioned to me that -so far- I'm the second one to whom such problem occured. Gosh, this is 1%!
They covered all costs under warranty and told me they would keep me informed on any new developments... Well, I really hope so. If we're facing with a design issue I would expect Kawa to come up with a fix at the earliest. We'll see.
In any case I'll keep in touch with my dealer and let you know if I learn anything new.
