be careful with "frankenstein" bikes...

see if he did the work himself, or if it was done by a shop. if a shop was involved.. look for receipts... or better yet... call to talk to the mechanic that did the work... to check the motor.. you may have to run the numbers off of the engine through Kawi..

it may seem like a great deal.. but i've seen some of those bikes where things kinda fit... and then they are forced to fit... this can put stress on parts of the bike that were not designed to handle that stress... i've seen cracks show up in welds because of this.. especially when motors are involved.. proceed with caution..

if the mechanic seems confident with the work and fit.. go with it... my $.02..
