I have a Joe Rocket mesh jacket with a waterproof zip out liner, with the liner out it's like riding in a T shirt. Full spinal protection, shoulder and elbow pads, but all mesh. I love it. Doesn't do jack for warmth on a cool morning, but when it gets hot out it's fantastic.
I lucked out because it was the only jacket on the wall that fit me, I'm a medium body with long arms and there just isn't much out there for a medium tall. I had a med/tall Tourmaster Intake on back order for two months, and when I found out it was going to be at least another month I just bought this. $150, looks good, real comfortable, and fit off the rack as a medium. Perfect. When it's cold out I just layer up underneath and it's great.
