Well not that anyone cares, nor am I claiming any expertise, but I'm a 3rd year medical student and based on what we've learned 2 beers can very well be enough to blow a 0.08 depending on the persons size and how long it has been since they've had the drinks.
Usually what advice is given is that for every drink you have, it takes about an hour to completely "dissipate." I still would even execute this general statement with caution when it comes to motorcycles simply because they require you to balance, be alert in so many phases of your ride (you, your bike, your balance, your shifting, your breaking, your road in front of you, other drivers, the weather, animals, etc etc) while your car you can really get away with a lack "concentration" or ability to do so.
Mind you I don't condone driving when you are even the slightest bit impaired because God only knows I've seen some bad accidents in the ER, many which have lead to death. Ride safely - not only is your life worth a few hours of sobering up (but I'd advocate not riding that night) but you owe it to your friends and family who worry about you simply because you ride. I love my ZX-6R, but if I ever start making bad decisions like drinking and riding, it would be the end of me riding and the end of such a fun fun hobby.
Be Safe (yes this message was sponsored by your local don't be an idiot on your bike VFW chapter haha)
