Your friends can't be that much experienced when they can't even sit on a bike without dropping it, and also forgetting to put the kickstand down. No experienced biker forgets their kickstand, it's second nature to pop the stand before you get off, for me it's an instant reflex.

Here's another idea, I'm surprised no one else has brought this up to you. How about you don't drink beers before you ride. 2 beers don't make you "accidently" pop the clutch, while also "accidently" downshifting during a speedy lean. No offense to you, but at this point I don't care about what happened to your bike. You play with fire, you get burnt. The only thing I'm worried about is you killing some poor little kid walking down that same street because you chose to drive drunk.

Nothing happened to you "accidently". You chose for your friends to hop on your bike. You chose to drink before you rode that night. You say you were going 20-40 when the incident happened. Well, thats a huge speed gap. 20 and you are going around the speed limit in a residential neighborhood, 40 and your over the speed limit by 15mph. You fucked yourself and your bike up pretty bad for 20 mph, so im gonna assume it's the latter, if not more.

I don't know about anyone else, but you're definitely not getting any sympathy from me. You should be glad you didn't kill yourself or someone else at that. Grow the hell up dude.
