Anyone ever tried to use an aftermarket starter realy for an '01?
It started after a ride. I was in the garage talking to my father-in-law with the bike
off. THen by itself, the bike started. I tried the kill switch, removed the key - nothing worked. The battery died.
After jumping my bike, it seemed ok, buit them it started
trying to start. I hit the starter button and it started, hit the kill switch and the bike turned off ---but was still trying to start.
I got an aftermarket relay, charged the battery with the Battery Tender Plus (batt V= 13.1) But now nothing works -lights instument panel, nothing. All fuses are good.
On the posts "b" connects to the batt. and "m" connects to starter. But doing so blows the fuse (on the relay).
Any ideas???
