Newbie have a sprocket question
Hi everybody! Just got 96 Zx11D.
I have a sprocket/chain question. So as far as it looks like I need to change my chain I was thinking about sprockets modification. I would like to do wheelies in second... right now it doesn't look like it wants to get up in second...So I've read a lot of topics here about sprockets. I think I might try 16T front and leave the stock 45T back.
1) Do you think it will help me with wheelies or I'd better do 16/47?
2) Will I still be able to use the stock chain with sprocket modifications?
3) Are the sprockets supposed to be exactly for Zx11 or they interchange with other bikes? What are the main numbers I need to look at if they interchange?
4) Does chain interchange with other bikes? Also what are the main numbers?
I've look at ebay and no sprockets/chains were available exactly for zx11... But I hope I can buy from other bikes.
I also want to do the cheapest way - I don't have much money right now... I also saw the stock chain/sprocket package for 250, which seems way too expensive, doesn't it?
