You might want to check out the Area P Exhaust company. Some serious folks make it and they sell the full carbon/stainless system for $495.00. Their header pipes are a stepped design which greatly helps smaller engines produce more power. Their personal dyno shows modest gains of three to seven horsepower depending on the rpm but that is pretty big gains for a bike that only make twenty plus horse power to began with. From the factory this bike is set up lean for emission purposes so a basic jet kit from dynojet, take out the snorkel from the air box, and add a exhaust like this one and you should feel the difference. I really like the Yoshimura carbon fiber exhaust but the full carbon/stainless system is 719.00 and it does not quite make the numbers that the Area P exhaust does. The other manufactures like 2 brothers sell there pipe where it is just a slip on for 500.00 but it is just a slip on. You won’t see the full benefits with a slip on. Area P also offers a quiet version for the same price that is slightly longer with a little smaller internal baffle diameter. I'm thinking about going with this quiet system because that’s all our world needs is more noise pollution. I’ve not heard this version as of ye but I’m 99 percent sure it will sound way cool compared to the wimpy stock exhaust. I'm not buying this bike to impress people as I drive by and rev the bike to look cool. Sound is important and all but as you get older you think more about others. I might still go with the standard exhaust canister but the short can also looks kind of dinky.
