Heres My Story lol,
So yesterday I was out ridin in the 90 degree, 100% humidity weather. I only own 1 jacket, and it is a black leather icon timax 2. Talk about hot! So I decide to buy a shirt (because I only had a wife beater on under the jacket) and dump the jacket for about an hour, the sun was going down and it was going to get cooler. I was going to pick it up after the heat settled down. So I'm driving down the road and hit some moderate traffic, no big deal, I'm not splitting lanes like I usually do (which is illegal in this area). So anyways, I'm crusin', doin about 15 - 20 mph in the left lane, all of a sudden some wrench decides to merge in my lane. This happened so quickly I didn't know what to do, I was going to try to rev the engine so she could here me but there wasn't enough time for that. Usually when people start to merge in the same lane that I am in, they see me before the get all the way over and quickly swerve back, not this time. I had no other option but to brake, I was so close to getting knocked to kingdom come, I braked hard as sh!t using the front brake. Next thing I know I'm sliding on on the side of my face and the back of my shoulder dragging along. WORST experience ever! All I could think about is I want to stop sliding! My skin was ripping off! So after I stop, I get up as quickly as I could and I see the wrench break, but I guess when she saw me get up, I was ok and kept goin... WTF! I went to the hospital where they cleaned my rash and gave me a tetanus shot and took some x-rays. Other than the rash, I'm fine and a little bruised up.
My point, I would have been a lot better if I just sweated my balls off in my jacket, then not having one at all...
