So I found that stupid valve cover gasket leak a little while ago. I cleaned it off and tightened the bolts in hopes that it would stop leaking. I took the bike out a couple days later to see if I could get it to leak again so that I could figure out if I needed to replace it or not. I put my suit and boots on along with every piece of protective gear that I had. I went out and dragged a couple knees to get into it. Next thing I know, some lady on a side street is nudging her car out. I saw her and took caution. she decided to bolt out in front of me and stop in the middle of my lane when she saw me. so I locked it up and slid it to go around the front of her car. no problem right? wrong! she realized she stopped in the lane so she moved forward again and stopped leaving her directly in my path.the rear of her car was still in my lane. so I slid the other way so that I wouldn't "T bone" her and destroy my bike, me, and her car. It worked for the most part except that I still clipped her rear bumper with my foot and the rear of my bike. That sent me into a high side. I got up and felt that my foot was messed up. I looked back and she was still sitting in the middle of the road just looking at me. I got everything to the side of the road and took my boot off. Turns out, my peg went straight through my boot(sidi vertigo corsa) into my foot to the bone and fractured it. the swingarm was ripped open, rear sets snapped and plastics messed up.

but, I didn't hurt my new pipe

I still have that stupid leak too. everybody please be careful and gear up. If I wasn't wearing my gear, I probably wouldn't have a foot right now. I've been noticing more and more stupid drivers every day. for now, I'm keeping it to the track. can't afford the hospital bills anymore, lol
