The 4300K being the brightest and whitest color temperature will give you the best performance on the road period. If we had a single headlamp I would say go for the 6K b/c I had the 8K on my Vulcan 2000 and it almost wasn't enough; but since we have dual headlamps the 8K will suffice. Be sure to adjust your lights too. I found that they were way too low for comfort when riding at night above 50+ mph on unlit roads.
