 . I went with the 8K simply b/c blue is my favorite color and I like the blue hue of the 8k. I also think it happens to be the best compromise between color and light output if that's what you're going for. I would NOT recommend going any higher than 8K as you considerably loose noticeable performance in light output. 6K would be best if you want the HID look for just a slight hint of blue and most output. The 4300K being the brightest and whitest color temperature will give you the best performance on the road period. If we had a single headlamp I would say go for the 6K b/c I had the 8K on my Vulcan 2000 and it almost wasn't enough; but since we have dual headlamps the 8K will suffice. Be sure to adjust your lights too. I found that they were way too low for comfort when riding at night above 50+ mph on unlit roads.
