Welcome Mynoven!  The ZX7 is fine if that's what your leaning to. Since you have a little bit of experience in riding two wheeled demons  you probably already know that any bike only becomes "having to much power" in the hands of an imature, irresponsible rider you doesn't respect the power the bike has.
