Having done 6 x (1700klm) 1060 mile days in a row on the stock seat I can say that it gets better after approx 5000klms. In fact I have a stock seat (13,500klms) on my own and a Kawasaki gel on theirs (42,000klms) and I prefer the stock seat.
Having said that as I got selected for the 2009 IBR I will be getting mine redone by Russell as I don't want to take any chances.
