I have the same kit in my 96 D model, Factory Pro 10 T.I, with a Full muzzy's 4-1,K&N filter. I too have my needles set on the second postion with a shim under. The only other thing is I installed the air valve block off kit on mine awhile back. my bike pulls strong to redline in every gear with no dips in power, the best change was in traffic, i completly lost the dip in the 3300-4800 rpm range. Every bike is different , IMHO if u are going into the carbs,clean them throughly and start with a good kit, i have used both the dynajet and factory pro, both are good, i just prefer the Factory Pro. great kit with alot of jet options and alot of advice on settings to start off with.
