I read the review of the 2008 Hayabusa, the BMW K1200S and
ZZR1400 in the June Superbike magazine.
What caught my eye was this paragraph :-

"But the 2008 ZZR is a completely different animal. Changes to the intake ports and fuelling have given the motor that much needed extra oomph lower down and smoothed the whole delivery throughout the rev range. It's a real improvement, giving the 1400 the sort of power and torque curve you'd expect. Gearchanges are needed far less often and you can normally whip past slower stuff by just tapping the gearlever just once. The kick in the arse style power step has been replaced by a much more progressive build up".

This is the same (relative) lack-lustre performance of the GTR (below 6-7k) and has been solved by some of you in North America doing a Fly-ectomy (+ PCIII)

However, does this suggest that the 2009 GTR will also have its real performance made available (without the need for Fly removal and PCIII) ?
Here's hoping ....
