I have an existing IPAQ RX 5935 travel companion with TomTom Europe on it.
I use the IPAQ for business and the Sat Nav function usually in the car or the Van.
I have used it in the past on the bike inside the Glove Box, riding with the lid open.
It is difficult to see the screen.
Today I put a set of headphones on and plugged them into the IPAQ but closed the lid as it was raining. I expexcted to lose the signal but with the lid down the Sat Nav worked perfectly with all instructions coming through loud and clear!
This avoids having to shell out for an expenbsive Sat Nav and bracket. If I do need to see the screen I can always open the lid.
Hope this helps someone else out there who does not want a separate system.
