i have an 02 zx9r, stock sprockets were 16t front and 41 rear, i could power it up in second at about 5K and the same in 3rd, just bounce it alittle and hit in the right spot, you should be fine, i run it now with a 520 kit and i went -1T in the front and went +4 in the back, does them at a lot slower speeds which i like
