I know this post has been around for a while, but I'll put in my two cents anyway.
Went the whole route in steps. First added Brake lines (Galfer). Not good enough.
Found some Nissin calipers from ZX-14 reall cheap, so I said Why not. This was better, not so abrubpt with a little more modulation, and less lever travel, but still not good enough. Finally got my Brembo Billett MC and put it on yesterday. Still have stock pads.
Yup.....!!!!! this is it. I may try the Tokico's back on someday, but maybe why bother. This setup is sweet enough. My advice to anyone starting from scratch on a '06 or '07 is to get a Brembo MC, either new or from a Z1, braided steel lines and a proper bleed, and keep the Tikicos. For street, the stock pads a fine.
