Thanks all for the replies. Spent last night over several pints planning trips away with my mate....Hawes for a warm up, Rhyder for a longer run, Ireland to test out the panniers, and then hopefully into Spain for a proper run....just got to get them by 'er indoors now
touchwoodsden - thanks for pointing out all the things that I can get advice on adding to my bike! - I'm getting heated grips and top-box added by the dealer before picking it up this weekend, and I agree about the fender/hugger.
Zed - I get to Squires as often as I can on a Sunday aft, and can't wait to get there on the new wheels.
