extension

hey guys. I have a 2001 zx6r, and in the process of getting the swing arm extended. I was told to get "extension block(s)". Can anyone give me some advice on which avenue to go? I really dont want to get a whole new swing arm, so if anyone knows anything about this "extension block", PLEASE help me!!!
