Congrats on your first bike. Since this is your first bike, have you thought about taking a rider safety course? It sounds stupid, but one class can really make you feel a lot more confident on the streets. Just a thought. I took one when I first started and it was a great experience. Try it out, not too expensive and well worth the time.
