Adjusting brake pedal after Buell peg install

After installing my Buell pegs a few weeks ago I quickly found that there wasn't enough adjustment in the brake adjustment rode to make the lever go far enough down. Well today I decided to make that fix......

I unscrewed the adjustment bolt in the end of the master cylinder all the way out. Then I removed the two allen head bolts from the master cylinder mount. This allows the rear master cylinder to be moved around. I then took my 4" grinder and ground off about 1/4" of the bolt, then filed the sharp edges smooth...then ran the locknut down over the ground area to make sure it would thread properly. I then installed everything in reverse order. Now I have enough adjustment to make the rear brake pedal where I want it to be....

The job took about 30 minutes start to finish and its nice to be able to use the rear brake without lifting my foot off of the peg....
