Andy12R Senior Member Joined: Jan 2009 From: England I Ride: ZX12R Posts: 108	It's a not "choke" as it would have been on an older carbed engine, it's basically a fast idle control. The ECU takes care of adjusting the mixture while the lever just raises the revs slightly to make it run easier while the engine is still cold.
