I can tell you from experience, the 94+ EX500's top speed, (assuming stock gearing) is 115mph. pre 94 models, it was 124mph. they put out around 50hp, get 60mpg when tuned well, handle incredibly, and are overall incredible machines. just dont rev em past 10.5k.

the brakes up front arent quite what I wanted, but in a small bike like the 500, they're enough. I'd be happier with dual 296mm rotors up front, and a 160 rear tire so I could put pilot powers on it.
